Concerts 2024, the most anticipated of September
The end of summer is not one of the easiest periods to deal with: with the exception of the great heat that has now become just a memory, in September the mood of most people is conditioned by the return to work, school and – more generally – to normal life. Although the ninth month of the year is not among the most popular with major national and international productions, the September 2024 calendar still offers a good choice of events capable of satisfying all types of palates: because – if it must be a return to normality – at least the return to normality has the best possible soundtrack…
The great Italian and international concerts
It starts on September 2nd with Emis Killaon stage on September 2nd at Fiera Milano Rho, in the northern hinterland of the Lombard capital. Just two days later, on the 4th, at the Verona Arena an impressive line-up of artists including, among others, Annalisa, Mahmood, Elodie, Geolier, Kolors, Coma_Cose, Tony Effe, Alfa, Rose Villain and Rhove will be the protagonists of a great evening of live Italian music featuring pop, rap, urban and r’n’b for Future Hits Live. Great anticipation, on September 17th and 18th in Piazza del Plebiscito, in the heart of Naples, for the double evening of the legends of Neapolitan hip hop Co’Sang as well as for the return to our country of Jonas Brothersexpected in Milan on September 24th. Again the city of the Madonnina – more precisely, the SNAI Hippodrome of San Siro, on September 28th, will be the setting for the only date in Italy for the next autumn of the Latin stars AdventureStarting from September 27th, the eyes of Pink Floyd fans and – more generally – classic rock enthusiasts will be focused on the Circo Massimo in Rome, ready to host the residency of the legendary guitarist of the band of “The Dark Side of the Moon” David Gilmourwho will present to our fellow countryman audiences his latest album “Luck and Strange” and a selection of the greatest hits of his former band.
Those who prefer dancefloors to the front of the stage shouldn’t miss the mega-event dedicated to techno “Afterlife”scheduled for September 21st at the SNAI Hippodrome in Milan, while those who want to take the opportunity to combine a visit to an important European city with an iconic food and wine experience should consider a trip to Munich for the legendary (and original) Oktoberfestwhich is also scheduled to open on September 21st.
One to watch for 2025…
For work or personal reasons, do you feel the need to plan your commitments well in advance? In view of next Christmas, would you like to give a great evening of live music but are short of ideas? No problem: management and promoters have already announced a robust series of important events for 2025.
Even before the new year, pay attention to Melanie Martinez (in Bologna and Milan on October 18th and 19th), Ghali (on tour between Milan, Rome and Bologna between October and November), André Rieu (expected on November 20th in the Lombard capital) and Max Pezzaliwhich will accompany us into the new year with a long residency at the Assago Forum, also in Milan, scheduled to start on December 28th.
As for 2025, it is worth mentioning the tours of Sphere Ebbasta (starting from March 1st, with stops – among others – in Padua, Rome, Bologna, Milan and Naples), Jovanotti (whose new tour will also open on March 1st), Geographer (ready to return to the stage starting from mid-March), Vasco Rossi (which will return to live action starting next May 31st with dates in Turin, Florence, Bologna, Naples, Messina and Rome), Marrakesh, Tactical Nuclear Penguins And Marco Mengoniall with tours starting next July. Coming to the foreign big names, they have already announced dates in Italy Billie Eilish (in Bologna next June 8th), Ed Sheeran (in Rome on June 14) and the legendary Bruce Springsteenready to return to Milan starting from June 30th to make up for the dates cancelled due to illness at the beginning of this summer.
And then, of course, there are them: the Gallagher brothers, who – having buried the hatchet after 15 years of brawls, verbal and otherwise – have announced a sensational reunion tour currently limited to Ireland and Great Britain. Rumors – which are more than just rumors, given that the series of dates has been officially named “Oasis Live ’25 World Tour” – want the 14 dates across the Channel that will mark their return to the stage to be just the beginning of the “reunion” Oasisso, for now, it’s best to keep your fingers crossed. And be ready…
