Noel Gallagher: “After the tour and the holidays we go back to work”
Oasis working on new music? Some statements from Noel Gallagher give fans hope. The guitarist spoke on the BBC, on a football programme, but obviously there was a lot of talk about the band’s triumphant tour, the second highest grossing tour of 2025 with over 400 million dollars.
The offending phrase is: “Everything is fine. But starting Monday we’ll be back to work. Everything went great”, referring to the post-tour holidays.
After the conclusion of the tour last November, the band announced “a pause for a period of reflection”, denying the rumors of new dates in 2026 and the rumors about new projects, which however never stopped. “I know things you don’t know,” Liam Gallagher wrote in his cryptic style on X.
A documentary film about the reunion and the “Live ’25” tour, produced by Steven Knight, creator of Peaky Blinders, is expected to be confirmed. “The Oasis fans are the best in the world. Every night there was an arena crowd even outside the concert venue. It was incredible. We gave away a few t-shirts and towards the end we put up a big screen for them too.”
And then, on his children: “They had never seen an Oasis concert before. In six months they saw 38. I’d say that’s a record. At first they weren’t very interested in my work, but after Cardiff they had a blast.”
