Nikka Costa releases album “Dirty Disco”

The 51 year old Nikka Costawhose fame will forever be linked to the song “(Out here) On my own” played by her at the age of nine, announces the release of her new album entitled on June 7th “Dirty Disco”, anticipated by the release of the title track. His previous album, “Nikka & Strings, Underneath and in Between”was published in 2017.

These are his words: “'Dirty Disco' tells about the place to celebrate your uniqueness! It's a place where no one looks at you, no one cares what you're doing or what you like. It could be a disco club, another planet, a state mental or a vibration. It's dark and sparkly, blue and purple. Rough, raw and sexy. Whatever you want. 'Everyone is welcome, everyone's an Avatar'”.

“Dirty disco” is produced by Justin Stanley (Prince, Jamie Lidell, Beck) and played there, among others, Brandon Coleman (Kamasi Washington, Thundercat, Donald Glover, Flying Lotus), Greg Phillinganes (Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder) e Kaveh Rastegar (John Legend, Beck).
