Nick Cave jokes about Radiohead with Colin Greenwood in concert

Last November 8th and 9th, Nick Cave’s tour with his Bad Seeds in support of the new album “Wild God” stopped for two dates atO2 Arena in London. During the second evening at the London venue, there was also a moment in which the Australian singer-songwriter took a few seconds to cheerfully joke about Radioheadwhose bassist Colin Greenwood he is currently touring with Cave and his band after participating in the making of their latest album.

At a certain point during the concert, as reported by the NME and evidenced by some videos online, Nick Cave pointed a fan in the front row wearing what the artist called a “horrible Radiohead sweatshirt”. The “Into my arms” singer added: “What’s worse is that you have a Björk t-shirt underneath.” Laughing with his bandmates as they watched Greenwood, Cave later corrected himself by joking: “We love them both. Isn’t that right Colin? We stole Colin from him“. Then, during the performance of the iconic “Red Right Hand”, Nick Cave returned his gaze to the fan wearing the sweatshirt with the “In rainbows” print and while singing the song he changed the lyrics to: “You want another shitty T-shirt?
