Nick Cave: A video on the ‘making of’ the new album “Wild God”
Nick Cave He posted a video on his YouTube channel showing him busy in the recording studio together with Bad Seeds working on his next album “Wild God” whose release is expected on August 30th.
The video is almost five minutes long and you can see how the band concretizes the ideas for the new album and records at Miraval Studios in Provence (France). It is the second short film of this kind released to document the work for the realization of “Wild God”. You can see them both below.
The exit of
“Wild God”
had been announced last March. In a statement at the time,

Speaking about the album, he said: “I hope the album has the same effect on listeners as it did on me. It comes out of the speaker and I’m swept away by it. It’s a complicated record, but it’s also deeply and joyfully infectious. There’s never a master plan when we make a record. Records are more of a reflection of the emotional state of the writers and the musicians who played them. Listening to this, I don’t know, we sound like we’re happy.”
The Australian musician will be touring next autumn to promote the songs of
“Wild God”
The only live dedicated to Italy will take place
October 20th at the Assago Forum
near Milan.
