New album and tour coming soon for Maya Hawke

After capturing the attention of audiences and critics with her music and acting career, Maya Hawke announces the beginning of a new creative chapter that sees her as a protagonist on multiple fronts. In 2026, the singer-songwriter returns with a new album and, to accompany it, her own first headlining tour in the United States after three years of absence from the solo stage.

The heart of this new phase is “Maitreya Course”the fourth studio album that will see the light on May 1, 2026. The title evokes an almost narrative universe, and Hawke herself has described the project as a profound reflection on creativity, artistic instinct and what happens when you try to protect what you love from the forces that threaten it.

The first taste of this new sound world came with the single Devil You Knowa song that plays with folk rhythms and original arrangements while exploring themes of ambition, desire and artistic integrity — a bold reminder of the desire to keep creative purity intact in a landscape often marked by ego and compromise.

The creative process that led to “Maitreya Corso” was intense and collaborative: Hawke wrote and recorded most of the songs with his musical partner, Christian Lee Hutsontogether with the multi-instrumentalist Benjamin Lazar Daviswhile the trusty man worked on the production Jonathan Low. Furthermore, other musicians contribute to the album such as guitarist Will Graefe, violinist Odessa Jorgensen and drummer Michael Riddleberger.

An album so full of intention requires a stage up to par: for this reason, immediately after the album’s release, Hawke will leave for his tour in the United Stateswhich will begin on April 10th in Woodstock (New York) and will pass through cities such as Seattle, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington DC and Boston, ending again in New York on May 2. In the middle there is also space for a special moment: the singer will be on stage March 3 at Carnegie Hall for the Tibet House US Benefit Concerta high-profile charity event.

With this project, Maya Hawke doesn’t just present new music, she builds a complete artistic experiencein which albums and live performances intertwine to tell a personal, creative and nuanced story, inviting the audience to listen to the songs and, above all, the world that inspired them.
