Neffa: the new album “Canerandagio Part 2” is coming

A few months after the release of “Canerandagio part 1”, the album that made peace between Neffa and rap, the artist announced “Canerandagio part 2”. The second part of the album, coming out on August 29thwas anticipated by the song “Santosubito/Rubik”, already available on all digital platforms. “Canerandagio Part 2 “, reads the presentation, would like to mark a natural evolution than the first: more modern and defined sounds, a less improvised and more structured writing, where words follow interlocking and metrics studied. A new balance between past and present. Neffa will present the new album live, and in general the new project, on the occasion of “Universe Neffa”, a concert scheduled for November 5th at the Assago forum. It will be an evening to celebrate his musical path, in which the artist who He has shaped the Italian rap and soul will retrace the most salient moments of his career.

As we remembered in our review of the first chapter, it took more than twenty -five years, in Neffa, to make peace with rap. His last project attributable to this universe is the “chicopisco” EP, released in 1999. Neffa is wrapped in an almost legendary aura. It is rightly considered one of the pioneers of Italian rap thanks, of course, to its militancy in Mixed blood, which with 1994 “SXM” marked the scene indissolublelyand to some seminal records such as “I Dopa messengers” and “107 elements”. After magically reappeared at the Sanremo Festival 2025bringing on stage “Waiting for the sun” with Shablo, Guè, Tormento and Joshua, in a mash up with “Amor de Mi Vida” of the undertone, Neffa made his return journey to this double album as a record journey.
