National: 2024 Rome Concert Becomes Live Album
The concert that last June 3rd saw the National protagonists on the stage of the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone in Rome, for one of the two Italian dates in support of the two albums released in 2023 – “The First Two Pages of Frankenstein” (read the review here) And “Laugh Track” (read the review here), becomes a live album.
The band led by Matt Berninger has announced the release of the live album “Rome“, which will include 21 tracks recorded live during the Roman show. The release will be available as a double album, mixed by long-time collaborator Peter Katis. To anticipate the arrival of “Rome,” The National shared today a four-song EP entitled “NTL RM EP I”, which contains the most significant songs from the upcoming live album: “I need my girl”, available in the video below, “Lemonworld”, “The Geese of Beverly Road” and “Lit up”.
