Muse release another preview from the new album

Four years after the previous studio project “Will of the people”, Muse are about to return with a new studio albumtitled “The Wow! Signal” and expected for the next one June 26th. To accompany the public while waiting for the album, Matt Bellamy and his associates have decided to share another preview. After the singles “Unravelling” and “Be with you”, the British band released the new song “Cryogen”.

The single, just made available, it had been presented live by Muse an intimate concert held last April 3 at the Brixton Academy in London.

Already at the first live performance, fans had highlighted a return to the past with “Cryogen”, finding similarities with “Plug in baby” and with echoes of “Origin of symmetry” from 2001 and the broad sounds of “Black holes & revelations” from 2006.

Projecting into the lyrics of the new single one’s pain in an apocalyptic scenarioMatt Bellamy sings: “Winter’s end, she’s Europa, I’m a cracked interloper / Icicles pierce my heart so cruel and quiet / Loneliness, she left me trembling in a polar desert / Wilderness, I’m breaking…Cryogen, I can never cry again / Cryogen, I’m freezing over” cruel and silent / Loneliness, left me shaking in a polar desert / Wild land, I’m breaking… Cryogen, I’ll never cry again / Cryogen, I’m freezing.”

In support of the new album “The Wow! Signal”, i Muse have announced a North American tourwhile the dates in the UK and Europe are expected to be revealed shortlyas Bellamy hinted during the recent London show by stating that the band will “be back in November”.
