Mumford & Sons, second album arriving in less than a year

Less than a week after posting the single “Rubber Band Man” with the Irish musician Hozierproduced by Aaron Dessner of the Nationali Mumford & Sons have confirmed that their second album will be released in less than a year titled “Prizefigher”will be published on February 13th.

Material for the record was assembled quickly last fall at Dessner’s Long Pond studio, but was temporarily put on hold while the

they focused on completing the album first

he previously collaborated with Mumford on their 2015 album

Marcus Mumford
said: “We feel like we are at the peak of our creativity. Right now we are putting everything we have and using all our experience to embrace exactly who we are. In this time we are comfortable with ourselves. “Prizefighter” is our way of giving it our all: serious and playful, sometimes hurt and always full of hope. We are not at the end yet. I hope and believe that we are at the beginning of something we don’t want to give up. I am more excited than ever to be a part of this band.”

In just under a month i Mumford & Sons they will perform in two Italian concertspart of their European tour. The events in our country concern the Unipol Arena in Casalecchio sul Reno, near Bologna, on 19 November and, two days later, on 21 November they will be staged at the Unipol Forum in Assago, in the immediate vicinity of Milan.
