MTV EMAs: Manchester will host the 2024 edition

MTV announced today that the next edition of MTV EMAs (MTV Europe Music Awards) will take place in Manchester, England. The event has reached its 30th edition she returns to England and for the first time to Manchester, after having also been to Italy in the past (1988 and 2015 in Milan and 2004 Rome).

Live from the brand new Manchester Co-op Live Arena, built for the occasion, the show, which will see i great artists on the international music scene, will be broadcast Sunday 10 November 2024 on MTV in over 150 countries and, where available, also on Pluto TV and Paramount+.

There are 14 categories into which the prizes awarded by the television broadcaster MTV to world artists are divided. Among the prizes awarded, one goes to the best artist of each European country in which the music television station is broadcast.

The 2023 edition was supposed to take place in Paris but then, due to the risk of attacks following the outbreak of the war between Israel and Palestine, the final evening was cancelled.
