Motörhead: the 1976 “Lost” album “The Manticore Tapes” comes out

The 11 unpublished recordings of “The Manticore Tapes” will be available on LP and CDand will include alternative take, instrumental versions and first versions of songs contained in their debut album “Motörhead” and in the 1979 album “On Word”.

A Deluxe version in extended book format will also include the live album “Blitzkrieg on Birmingham ’77”, as well as unpublished live recordings Taken from a 1977 concert to the club Barbarella’s by Birmingham.

The news was shared today, May 8, the day on which the “Motörhead day” falls.
