MMW24: who is the duo The Snookers, live at “GenZ Stage”

Also for the 2024 edition of the Milan Music Week, Rockol presents for the third year the “GenZ Internship“, an evening of live music with 7 emerging artists of the Italian music scene, without distinction of genre, in one of the most famous venues in Milan.

The event is realized in collaboration with TuneCore Italia and is scheduled for Thursday 21 November at 9.30pm at the Ronin.

Among the artists who will perform are Montag, Anna Castiglia, The Snookers, Klaus Noir, Ethan, Niveo and Chyky. Let’s get to know them more closely, one by one.

The Snookers

The Snookers is a duo born in 2018 and composed of Anita and Federicoborn in 2000 and ’99 respectively. In 2019 they arrived at Davide Lasala and Andrea Fognini’s Edac Studio, with whom they began working on their production. In November 2022, after releasing three other singles for Edac Music Group, “Guai” was released. In May 2023 their debut album was released by Edac Music Group “The universe surrenders to those who are calm”, which the duo brings live in venues such as Germi, Off Topic Torino, and as opening acts for historic bands such as Marlene Kuntz.

In 2024 the band was part of the shortlist of eight winning artists of the XXXV edition of Musicultura with the song “Guai”. In September they released two singles entitled “Ho fear of seeing you” and “Guarda come il tempo vola”. The second album was released on October 18th.A normal family” published by Edac Music Group and distributed by Believe Italia. The album is followed by a winter tour which brings the duo The Snookers to play in many Italian clubs. Anita and Federico say about their project:

“What we want is to communicate through instinctive sounds and sincere words.”

The event is organized by Rockol in collaboration with TuneCore Italia. Entrance is free with registrationwhile places last. It is necessary to participate register at the following address. Places are limited and punctuality is recommended: signing up alone does not guarantee the right to entry.

The venue is Ronin, via Vittorio Alfieri 17, Milan.
