Mk.gee: the “new God” of the guitar (that Eric Clapton likes)

Mk.gee played the same song 12 times in concert

Last Saturday in concert at the Uptown Theater in Minneapolis, on the last leg of his North American tour, Mk.gee he delighted the audience by performing the song “DNM” twelve times, included in his debut album “Two Star & the Dream Police” released last February.

Michael Todd Gordonthis is the real name of the American musician, is among the most prominent names of the last season, so much to have garnered praise of a six-string legend like Eric Clapton for his “unique” way of playing the guitar.

In Minneapolis, as reported by the bible of concert setlists setlist.fm, Mk.gee he rang “DNM” ten times in a row.

At one point, during one of the performances of the song, the musician surfed above the audience, then left the stage to go get a beer at the venue’s bar while his band continued to play.“DNM”.

“This one’s slower. And I know it’s stupid, but this one means a lot to me,” he told the audience, fooling them into thinking he was going to play a different song only to come back again with “DNM”. After playing it ten times, Mk.gee he proposed “Are You Looking Up?”. He then left the stage but returned to play “Alesis” and, last but not least, he did it twice more “DNM” before closing the concert.
