Maynard James Keenan revealed because he founded the tools
The 61 -year -old Tool frontman, Maynard James Keenanon his official website – Maynardjameskeenan.com – he told of himself and how he arrived, of bands in bands, of experience in experience, starting from the mid -eighties, to found the Tool.
Here is what was revealed by the American musician: “My first incursion into the world of musicians dates back to about 1985-1987. I started as a bass player in the Tex & the Anti Nazi Squad, aka The Texans. I was the opposite of Bravo”.
He then continues by telling his group musical journey in groups: “So I founded the Children ad, I was the singer and the author. I already had a bass Hohner (Junior Varsity Steinberger), an amplifier and a Peavey Cassa and a distorting pedal Rat. I bought a 4-track tascam, a Korg Superdrums and a delay boss pedal. The results were not satisfactory. Tex-ANS and Children to publish two crates each.
It was then that a provocation was launched in Keenan: “The tools were born for challenge. While I attended some concerts of alternative rock in Hollywood in 1990, a stranger tired of having to listen to my cynical criticisms of the many, many mediocre local bands. ‘He said:’ If you think he can do better, why don’t you try? ‘And so I did.”
