Marra Block Party: here are the ways to participate
Marracash celebrated the achievement of an important milestone in his career: the Diamond Record for “Persona”, released in 2019the first chapter of his trilogy. An award that certifies the profound impact of an album that has become a symbol not only of an artistic phase, but of an entire rap generation. To celebrate the goal, the artist chose to celebrate in Barona, the neighborhood of Milan from which he started and which has always remained central to his narrative. On Monday he brought the trophy among the streets where he grew up, welcomed by the affection of the inhabitants, who have long considered him an absolute point of reference. But he didn’t limit himself to the celebration. Marracash has announced that on April 18th it will stage a “Marra Block Party” in Via Enrico De Nicola from 6pman event that recalls the founding block parties of hip hop culture. Today it also released the methods of participation.
The tickets they will be purchasable only and exclusively Thursday 5 March from 4pm to 10pm only at the point of sale “Barrio’s Live” in Piazza Donne Partigiane (Via Barona corner Via Boffalora) in Milan. It will be possible to purchase a maximum of four tickets per buyer, in the order of arrival at the point of sale and while stocks last. Availability is limited and presence in the queue does not guarantee the right to purchase. Each ticket is nominative: it will therefore be necessary to present a valid identity document, even in digital format (photo), at the time of purchase and it will not be possible to change the name at a later time. The cost of the ticket is €25. It will be reserved for residents of Municipality 6 a preferential lane in ticket purchasing proceduresguaranteeing them priority access over the rest of the public. The proceeds from tickets sold, net of VAT and SIAE, will be entirely donated to social activities and the redevelopment of school facilities and sports in the Barona district of Milan. The partners and sponsors involved will bear the production costs necessary for the realization of the event, with a strong social impact, as well as supporting them fundraising.
