After the controversies of the last few days, the performance of Ghali: the reading of “Reminder”, a poem by Gianni Rodari against the war, in different languages, accompanied by a dance troupe. In the RAI live broadcast, Ghali was not featured in the foreground or mentioned in the commentary.

The ceremony involved 1200 performers volunteers, including dancers from the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala, professional dancers and people who have dedicated weeks of preparation to the show, and a cast from 27 different countries with ages ranging from 10 to 70 years. 5000 athletes who marched, including guests from other sports that were not strictly winter such as world volleyball champions or former footballers (Bergomi and Baresi, who carried the Olympic torch into the stadium). The soundtracks of the show have seen busy 500 musicianswhile 1400 is the number of various costumes that will be seen worn on stage, among 1000 props.
