Mariah Carey will sing at the Olympics ceremony

Mariah Carey is the first big international name announced for the opening ceremony of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games. The singer herself announced it in a video published on Instagram in collaboration with the official account of the Olympics, and with Studio Balich, which is responsible for the production of the event. The ceremony will take place at the San Siro Stadium on February 6th.

The 2026 Winter Olympics will be held from 6 to 22 February between Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo. Meanwhile, Mariah Carey is already back at the top of the Italian charts with “All I Want for Christmas Is You”, as well as those around the world: she reached the 20th overall week at first place on the Billboard Hot 100, setting an absolute record. “Humbly taking back the torch!! 20 weeks at #1. I’m so grateful,” she wrote on Instagram. The previous record of 19 weeks was set by Lil Nas
