Bocelli, Cocciante and Baglioni: trio of big names in Piazza San Marco
St. Mark’s Square it is one of the most iconic open-air theaters in the world: the perfect setting, therefore, for concerts by big names such as Riccardo Cocciante, Andrea Bocelli And Claudio Baglionion 25 and 27 June respectively and the double evening of 29 and 30 June.
Courageous – who will resume the tour on June 20th – has chosen a stop in Venice for his 2026 tour. The live show will be staged in the year in which the Maestro will celebrate his 80 years old; a special opportunity to listen live and retrace the songs of an artist and composer with 40 albums published in three languages behind him. The tour is intertwined with the dates of “Notre Dame de Paris”, a modern popular opera which is preparing to celebrate 25 years since its first Italian staging.
Piazza San Marco will also host Andrea Bocelliwhich will celebrate a special anniversary: i 30 years of “Romance”the album that marked a turning point in his career and which still holds the record as the best-selling album by an Italian artist globally, with over 20 million copies sold worldwide.
In the end, Baglioni will start from the lagoon city with the GrandTour which will see the accompaniment of the entire lineup of 20 musicians and choristers, with whom he recorded the new edition of “Life is now, the dream is always“. He will perform the album in its entirety for the first time, along with the greatest hits that have punctuated his 60-year career.
