Marcus King returns to Italy in October 2024 in concert in Milan

Marcus Kingthe American artist, arrives in Italy this year, an appointment for Sunday 20 October at the Fabrique in Milan.

The Greenville musician will present live “Mood Swings”, his new, third, album produced by Rick Rubinout April 5.

To coincide with the album’s announcement, King released the album’s title track, “Mood Swings“. The song features a slow electronic drum stomp and jazz guitar, which gives way to King’s soulful voice. He shares his innermost fears and thrives on being completely vulnerable and honest.

Legendary producer Rick Rubin, who has worked with everyone from Adele to Johnny Cash, was immediately drawn to King’s guitar playing, singular voice and songwriting and, after seeing one of his live performances , one day she casually called him to propose the idea of ​​working together.

King is a fourth-generation, Grammy-nominated musician originally from Greenville, SC, who began playing guitar at age 8 following in the footsteps of his guitarist father and grandfather. With thousands of miles on the road as “The Marcus King Band,” he has established himself through unparalleled performance ability and a dynamic live show.

He has already passed through Italy twice with his band: in May 2017 (Legend Club Milan) and October 2018 (Santeria Milan). He was supposed to perform in July 2020 but the concert, in the midst of the pandemic, was cancelled.
