Madonna, the manager: “Obviously she will return to tour”
After the surprise appearance on stage at Coachella 2026 during Sabrina Carpenter’s set last April 17, and while awaiting the release of her new album, Madonna is not far from the idea of returning to tour. The pop star’s manager confirmed that there will be a tour after the performance together with the “Espresso” singer.
In an interview for “Variety”, Guy Oseary spoke about the possibility of a future Madonna tour on April 18th. Later, through Instagram stories, Oseary further confirmed that the queen of pop will return to tour. By sharing the screenshot of his statements taken from “Variety”, the manager in fact wanted to clarify his real statements. In a post shared by “Variety” on As reported by People, Oseary then took back the piece and clarified:
“That’s not true. I was asked, ‘Will we see her on tour?’ I said, ‘I’m not sure yet.’
Subsequently, “Variety” then updated Oseary’s quote to “I’m not sure yet”, regarding Madonna’s tour, and attached a video with the questions asked to the manager last April 18 on the red carpet of the 2026 Breakthrough Prize ceremony. In the clip, when asked if he would like to see the Queen of Pop back on tour, the manager told the publication: “I want to see her happy, so whatever makes her happy, I support it.”
While Guy Oseary used Instagram stories to correct “Variety”, Madonna took to social media to share the news that the clothes she wore at Coachella, where together with Sabrina Carpenter she performed her hits “Vogue”, “Bring your love”, “Get together” and “Like a prayer” have disappeared. Before sharing a series of images of the outfits, the pop star wrote: “Still riding high from Friday night at Coachella! Thanks to Sabrina Carpenter and everyone who made it possible. Taking ‘Confessions II’ back to where it all began was emotional! This full-circle moment was even more intense… until I discovered that the vintage items I was wearing were missing: my costume from my personal archive – jacket, corset, dress and all the other garments. They are not simple clothes, they are part of my history.
Other archive pieces from the same period have also disappeared. I hope and pray that some kind soul finds these items and contacts my team at: Infomaverick20266gmail.com. I offer a reward for their safe return. Thank you with all my heart”.
The voice of “Like a virgin” returned to the stages all over the world on the occasion of the “Celebration Tour”, held from October 2023 to May 2024, also passing through Italy. Now the pop star is about to release her new studio album, “Confessions II,” the follow-up to her 2005 hit “Confessions on a Dance Floor.” The album, announced last week, is expected for release on July 3rd and is preceded by the single “I feel so free”.
