Madonna surprisingly sang the new single live

On the weekend Madonna made a surprise appearance at The Abbey, an LGBTQ+ nightclub and bar in Hollywood. The event, which was by invitation only, was advertised as “Club Confessions Los Angeles” and was attended by DJ Stuart Price (producer of both Madonna’s “Confessions” albums), Romy and Mez Monty.

“Hello lads, mom is here to save you” Madonna began into the microphone at the DJ booth next to Price around 1 a.m. Sunday. “Are you ready to dance for me? Come on, come see me on the dance floor. Come on, gay, don’t disappoint me!”.

In a moment that went viral, as Rae tried to warm up the audience by saying, “Put your hands up for Madonna,” the pop icon reached out to take the microphone back. “I was drunk. I love you Madonna,” Rae later wrote on Instagram Stories. Madonna was in the booth with her footballer and model boyfriend, Akeem Morris, and her agent Maha Dakhil.
