Madonna, Shakira and BTS for the football World Cup halftime show

Through its social channels, FIFA has confirmed that Shakira, BTS and Madonna are the artists who will perform in the halftime show of the 2026 football World Cup.

The show will also feature Coldplay’s Chris Martin as curator

The World Cup halftime show will be a charity event, as it will raise funds for the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which aims to improve access to quality education and football for children around the world.

“For the duration of the tournament, $1 from every ticket sold for FIFA World Cup 2026™ matches will be donated to the Fund,” FIFA says.

With the artists confirmed, all that remains is to wait to find out the two finalist teams who will face each other at the New York – New Jersey Stadium on July 19th to decide the next world champion team.
