Luca Carboni is back: a concert at the Assago Forum

Meanwhile, Luca Carboni recovers the stages, after so many years of distance from the scenes: the Bolognese singer-songwriter, who was surprised by Cesare Cremonini last night at the San Siro stadium in Milan, together with which he sang the “San Luca” contained in the last album of the former Lunapop, announced a concert-event scheduled for November 11 at the Unipol Forum in Assago, in Milan.
The show was renamed “Rio Ari or”, as the exhibition inaugurated last year in Bologna with his paintings and like the incipit of “We are wrong”, the song that in 1984 opened the album “… Meanwhile Dustin Hoffman does not miss a film”, which marked the debut of the singer -songwriter. “‘Rio Ari O’ is the first sound, the first thing ever that people have heard of me, from my voice, even before the words of ‘We are wrong guys’, the song that opens my first album. A sound that has become a symbol because it has its own harmony, its impact, also visually”, says Carboni, who last year in an interview with Corriere della Sera has revealed that behind the suspension of its artistic activities in the last two years in the last two years. There was a lung cancer diagnosed in 2022.
The concert-event in Milan will fell in conjunction with the forty-year of “Forever”, the second album of Carboni, published in September 1985: it was the link between the debut of the previous year and the consecration with the eponymous “Luca Carboni”, which would be released in 1987. The album contained some of the most emblematic songs of the style and poetics of Carboni, from “A will be”. passing through “our words”, which had already developed a way to tell the feelings with discomfort and shyness.
