The title of the album, “Lotus”, embodies the concept of renewal and growth and wants to reflect its continuous artistic evolution, as well as the thematic journey of the songi through the intricate phases of life. The video of “Flood”, directed by the renowned director Salomon Ligthelm, represents an important entrance door in the visual world of “Lotus“. In the song the British artist, through a game of numbers, creates a survival manual in the ruthless urban jungle: “Number one is to take your position, don’t trust all your hands tightening. If I enter the wrong code in the system there will be no permanent change. Number two, do not take it on the staff, this place is infested with snakes. Don’t be taken in your same trap. Each bad race has a good feature. Number three, take care of yourself. Be alert, be careful to those who help“.

Little Simz is an artist with a strong cultural impact and is recognized as one of the most visionary artists of the United Kingdom. Winner of numerous prizes, including Brit Awards, Mobo and a Ivor Novello, he built his career through mixtapes, EPs and five albums acclaimed by critics, telling his story and his path by intertwining everything with that of his generation.
