Ligabue, concert at the Royal Palace of Caserta on 6 September 2025
Ligabue will hold a concert in Caserta on September 6, 2025 (produced and organized by Friends&Partners and ZooAperto). The Royal Palace of Caserta, one of the most evocative places in Italy, will be the backdrop to this event, with a space of 130 thousand m2, for an expected capacity, at the moment, of 32/36 thousand spectators. To present the show Ligabue, who went to Campania and Naples for inspections, took the opportunity to meet the press and the media.
“To say that Naples is a place full of life and passion and transmits a special energy is a banality” – comments Ligabue – “but that this thing is felt even more clearly even outside Campania is very evident”.
And he adds: “We know that the Campovolo of Reggio Emilia is the place of celebrations, the place where we celebrate the most important moments of our career. I leave the house and find myself in the most beautiful workplace in the world, where I can get together for a couple of days. However, there is a problem: those who live far from us have to travel too far to reach us, and so we thought: why not move everything? And so everything that is in Campovolo will also be in Caserta, thanks to the collaboration of the Superintendency. The schedule will be the same for both the north and the south: for me there is no difference.” And when someone asks him if he still feels like a midfielder, especially from a footballing point of view, the Emilian rocker replies: “No, I’m a playmaker, because I live in fantasy. I felt like a midfielder, once, due to a poorly concealed sense of guilt for my success.”
The “La Notte di Certe Notti” concert is a journey through time that celebrates 30 years of “Certe Notti” and the album “Buon Birthday Elvis”, two milestones in Ligabue’s career.
But the concert is only part of the experience. A real Ligavillage will arise around the Royal Palace of Caserta, an area dedicated to fans which will be operational for two days: at 12pm on 5 September the village will open with exhibitions, exclusive merchandising, refreshment points, thematic areas and much more. From an idea by Marco Ligabue, a stage for cover bands will also be placed in the Palace. Access will be possible through a bracelet that will connect to an app and which will arrive at the homes of all those who purchase the ticket. In addition to being the entrance ticket, thanks to the RFID technology developed in partnership with HID, the bracelet will also be used to manage reservations for collateral activities and for payments for food, drinks and exclusive merchandising. At the end of the events it will be possible to request a refund of the money loaded and not used.
Ligabue had already met the Neapolitan public on several occasions in recent years, for example with concerts at the Teatro San Carlo and in Piazza del Plebiscito on 20 July 2012.
