Doja Cat plays new music: is the new album coming?

For a few weeks, Doja Cat has continued to pique fans’ anticipation for her next album. At the end of last October, the singer paused her X/Twitter account by publishing a post with a single word, “album”. Subsequently, the artist, born Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, born in 1995, reappeared on the social platform to share a list of song titles that seemed to make up the tracklist of a new record company. Now, Doja Cat has shared a series of videos featuring previously unreleased music, leading the public to believe that the announcement of her new album, the follow-up to 2023’s “Scarlet,” is near.

In the list of songs revealed in a post on social media, which was promptly deleted, 13 tracks appeared, listed in no particular order, including five marked with a star and, indicated by the singer herself as her favourites, entitled “Cards”, “Acts Of Service “, “Make It Up”, “Did I Lie” and “Crack”. The list was followed today morning, November 30, by some clips published on X/Twitter in which Doja Cat plays fragments of unreleased material. The various videos are accompanied by short captions, from “Lets talk about it” to “my bad yall” and “lol”.

After a private show in 2021, last summer Doja Cat officially made her concert debut in Italy, performing on the I-Days stage in Milan to present her latest album live Scarlet”, containing the singles “Balut”, “Demons”, “Attention” and “Paint The Town Red”.
