Liam Gallagher: “There will be an Oasis European tour”
Liam Gallagher fuels anticipation of new Oasis concerts, saying there are “loads of other classics” that could make it into the setlist.
The band wrapped up their big reunion tour last Sunday (November 23). “Live ’25” in Brazil, after 41 concerts in 142 days and five continents.
Oasis then confirmed that there will now be “a pause for a period of reflection”.
Earlier this month, Gallagher hinted at new concerts, writing in X: “I know things you guys don’t know.” The phrase came in response to a fan asking him if he was sad about the end of the tour. Already last month he hinted at a new round of concerts, saying: “We’re not even at halftime.”
During the return dates at Wembley last September, he told the audience: “See you next year.” However, Gallagher later said that Oasis would have to “sit down and discuss” the plans.
Now, Liam has responded to numerous X/Twitter users who insist on knowing when Oasis will tour again. Some fans also asked about the setlist, which remained identical throughout “Live ’25.”
“There are plenty more classics we need to play when we get back out,” Gallagher wrote in a tweet.
To a fan who suggested some songs, he replied: “We will definitely do ‘The Hindu Times’, ‘Columbia’ and ‘Go Let It Out’, and also ‘The Shock Of The Lightning’.”
When a fan asked him what he wanted for Christmas, Gallagher replied: “A European tour.” Oasis have not played in mainland Europe this year, following dates in the UK and Ireland.
Among the rumors about Oasis’ next steps: a possible return to Knebworth, a home residency at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester and new concerts at Wembley Stadium in London.
A film documenting the return of Oasis and their tour is in the works, produced by the creator of “Peaky Blinders”Steven Knight. According to reports, the project will feature “phenomenal” material from Liam and Noel’s first meeting ahead of the concerts.
