Laura Pausini chooses young artists on Instagram as opening
Through a post shared on her official social channels, Laura Pausini presented the initiative “My stage: your stage” to choose the emerging artists who will perform at the opening of her next concerts in Italy.
While waiting to start the “World tour winter 2024”, the last leg of his tenth world tour which will start on Monday 4 November at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London, the voice of “Strani amori” announces the initiative with which decided to choose eight young singers as the opening act for the Italian live shows. As explained in a press release, the choice was made through an online search by Laura Pausini herself.
“I know that today there are many ways to make your voice known but giving space to music in my opinion is never enough!”, we read in the post shared by the singer on Instagram to present the initiative: “I like to discover the talents of our boot, I often look for them on the web and I am struck by their art. This is why I decided to shine a light by having them open my Italian concerts. From today at 4pm and from here every week, I will make my invitations via IG stories tagging the artists I chose. It will be a surprise for everyone, even for them! My stage: your stage. If they accept my invitation, you will see them on tour!”.
The first two artists chosen by Laura Pausini, announced today, are Ste, born Stephani Ojemba who will open the concert on November 13th at the Palasele in Eboli, and Leonardo Lamacchia who will perform in front of the public at the Palaflorio in Bari for the scheduled dates on November 15th and 16th. Another six artists will be revealed in the coming weeks via Pausini’s official social channels.
