Kings of Leon: another preview from the new album, with video
THE Kings of Leon have decided to offer today, April 19, a new preview of their next studio album, “Can we please have fun”, arriving on May 10th.
After “Mustang” And “Split screen“, Caleb Followill and his associates have in fact shared the single “Nothing to do”, as the third song from their new album, successor to 2021's “When you see yourself”. The song published today by the American band is accompanied by the video given below, directed by Kings of Leon themselves together with Casey McGrath, with the images shot by Followill in a single shot.
In a press release picked up by the US edition of “Rolling Stone”, “Nothing to do” is described as a song that “deepens their post-punk sound with its jagged guitar riffs and propulsive drums”.
The Tennessee native's new album, Can We Please Have Fun, was produced with new collaborator Kid Harpoon and promises to see the band return to their gritty roots while pushing their sound into new territory. The album will be presented live during a tour which includes dates in the UK, Ireland and North America. At the moment, no concerts in Italy have been announced by Kings of Leon, whose last Italian title dates back to 2017.
