Kings of Leon: a live taste of the new single “Split screen”

THE Kings of Leon have confirmed the release of the new single for Friday 29 March “Split screen“, second preview – after the song “Mustang” – from the American band's next studio album, “Can we please have fun”, arriving on May 10th.

To announce the release of the song, the Followill brothers lineup shared a video on social media which features frontman Caleb Followill playing an unplugged electric guitar and sing a passage from “Split Screen”. The clip ends with a screen indicating the release date of the single.

During a recent interview for “iHeart Radio”, Caleb Followill mentioned “Split screen”, revealing that it is the song from “Can we please have fun” who can't wait to play live anymore. “'Split screen' will be a nice romantic moment,” the Kings of Leon frotman had said.

The Tennessee outfit's next album, the follow-up to 2021's “When You See Yourself,” was produced with new collaborator Kid Harpoon and promises to see the band return to their gritty roots while pushing their sound into new territory. . The album will be presented live during a tour which includes dates in the UK, Ireland and North America. At the moment, no concerts in Italy have been announced by Kings of Leon, whose last Italian title dates back to 2017.
