The new single shared by the former Sonic Youth bassist is “Psychedelic orgasm” and follows the previous extracts, “Bye bye” and “I'm a man”.
“He has created a damaged, strange album, a product of our times in which the light never seems to arrive: in fact, all the tracks, with the exception of some of the endings, have a strong continuity. It is as if he had composed the soundtrack of a time elusive: 'Bye bye', 'The candy house', 'Psychedelic Orgasm', 'Tree House' seem like poems by William S. Burroughs on a carpet of sound in constant balance between power and disintegration”, writes Claudio Cabona about the last preview and of “The collective” in the album review for Rockol.
“Psychedelic Orgasm” is accompanied by a video described by the artist's team as “a Los Angeles-set clip that's as disorienting as 'Psychedelic Orgasm,'” thanks to its “fast sequence changes and upside-down images.”
Kim Gordon will present her new solo project live with a tour which, starting on March 21st from Vermont, will pass through the United Kingdom and Europe between the months of June and July.
