Kanye West: ticket prices for the live in Reggio Emilia

Kanye has moved the release date of “Bully” – the fourth time

Two days before its release date, the release of Kanye West’s “Bully” has been postponed again. The new album of the controversial American rapper should have seen the light this Friday, January 30th. But just over 48 hours after its release, Ye – as the rapper now wants to be called – has decided to postpone its publication once again. The new date to mark on the calendar is March 20th. The news comes after the letter of apology that Kanye West published for his unfortunate anti-Semitic and pro-Nazi statements, purchasing a page of advertising in the Wall Street Journal, one of the most influential US newspapers. West also announced that he had signed a contract with an independent label. Not just any one, but Gamma, founded by former Apple executive Larry Jackson: not just any one, but a media company which at the time of its foundation, in 2023, declared it wanted to wage war on record multinationals using technological platforms such as Vydia to distribute music directly on streaming platforms.

Jackson founded the company with 1 billion dollars of initial capital raised thanks to investments from billionaires including Todd Boehly, an American entrepreneur known to most for being the co-founder, president and CEO of Eldridge Industries and co-owner and president of Chelsea (among the largest clubs in English football) and Strasbourg.

In these two years they have published for Gamma – among others – Usher, Rick Ross and Snoop Dogg. All artists who have come out, some more or less, from the main circle of stars and stripes rap, looking for a relaunch.

Returning to Kanye, it is the fourth time that the rapper has postponed the release of “Bully”, announced as far back as September 2024. Originally scheduled for June 15, 2025, the album’s release was postponed first to November 7, then to December 12, then to January 30, 2026. West, announcing the new release date, made it known that the album is officially completed.
