John Peel and the ten songs of his life (1 / 11)

Who passed away on 25 October 2004, John Peel was a pillar of British rock music: disc jockey, radio presenter, producer and journalist, he worked at the BBC from 1967 to the year of his death. Musically omnivorous, he has programmed every genre in his broadcasts, from progressive to punk, from indie to reggae, from hip hop to electronic music, very often hosting artists and groups for live performances (from which numerous recordings were then published under the title “Peel Sessions”).
