James Hetfield and the new tattoo with Lemmy Kilmister's ashes
Through a post shared on Metallica's official Instagram profile, the frontman James Hetfield showed fans his new tattoowhich it wants to be a tribute to Lemmy Kilmister of Motörhead.
The leader of the Four Horsemen has in fact had theace of spadessymbol of the classic album and the song of the same name “Ace of Spades” by Motörhead. The tattoo was made with a special ink, in which was added some of the ashes of the late Kilmisterwho passed away in December 2015.
“A tribute to a great friend and inspiration, Mr. Lemmy Kilmister,” the photo caption reads: “Without him Metallica wouldn't exist“.
Metallica are ready to go back on tour to continue the tour in support of the new album “72 Seasons” (here is our story of the songs on the album and here is our review), which will be released on May 29th it will also pass through Italy for a date in Milan.
