Jack White announces “Frozen Charlotte”, the new album
Jack White announces new album “Frozen Charlotte”, out July 10th via Third Man Records. The album, the Detroit artist’s seventh studio work, will be available on standard black vinyl and a limited edition “Ice Blue” for independent stores, as well as on CD and cassette. At the same time, the new single “Dollar Bill” was released, while the album will also include the songs “GOD and the Broken Bones” and “Derecho Demonico”, already presented live and shared in recent months. “Frozen Charlotte” comes after the previous album “No Name” and features Jack White supported by his band composed of Patrick Keeler on drums, Dominic Davis on bass and Bobby Emmett on keyboards. A now consolidated group, fresh from intense live activity and a positively received tour.
Recorded at Third Man Studios in Nashville, the album collects and relaunches a rough, direct and high-voltage sound, keeping the blues component strong which has always characterized Jack White’s work. The album consists of 13 songs and alternates different approaches, while remaining consistent in its overall energy and rock and roll attitude. THEThe artist from Detroit will also be in Italy in June as a headliner at La Prima Estate Festival and at the Arena Alpe Adria in Lignano Sabbiadoro, with two dates already announced: June 19th in Camaiore and June 21st in Lignano Sabbiadoro. “Frozen Charlotte” thus presents itself as a work designed for both historical audiences and new listeners, confirming Jack White as one of the central figures of contemporary rock.
