Fabrizio De André Prize: the stages of the tour for the new talents

In search of talent: the Fabrizio De André prize continues

After the first appointments in Calabria and in Lazio the national tour of the Fabrizio De André Prize continues with the project-format “And you like to let yourself be listened to”, dedicated to the research and meeting of new talents. Cultural Promoters and Cultural Manufacturers of the Prize, operating in Cultural Production and Training Centers, Theaters and Live Clubs, Festivals and Music Reviews organize concerts in the various Italian regions to meet and listen to talents in the area.

The next stop will be held in Tuscany tomorrow, 11 July, in Marina di Massa at the Apuan Alps Festival and will see in Commission, Luisa Melis Massimo Poggini, Claudio Gabelloni and Teresa Mariano.

In this second edition of the project, each territorial promoter of reference, will be able to select up to 10 artists, to be submitted, through a live event open to the public, to the artistic direction of the prize supported by a quality artistic commission made up of: Luisa Melis (artistic director of the prize), Mauro Ermanno Giovanardi, Cristina Donà, Pino Marino, Geneva Di Marco, Teresa De Sio (Cantautori), Massimo Poggini, Marinella Venegoni, Paola Gallo, Pietro D’Ottavio (journalists and musical critics), Luca Zannotti, Alessandro Ceccarelli, Franco Zanetti (manager and cultural producers), Teresa Mariano (creator for artistic villages of “And you like to let you listen”).

The award aims to listen to young talents, meeting them in the real nurseries of good Italian music, in places and territories to be supported and promoted in the best way, especially in a historical-cultural period so difficult and particular for our country. To deepen the experience of meeting and knowledge with the Award and the Professionals members of the Commission, the project provides for the realization of “An open classroom”, an meeting-debate functional to be able to answer any questions from the artists and to provide useful information for the development of their artistic path. Each artist can perform two songs of his own composition, without any registration fee. We will go from the classical author, rap, rock, jazz song. As always, the prize independent of the proposed musical genre. The only request: originality.

From each live stage, only one artist will be selected that will access directly to the national semifinals of the Fabrizio De André 2025 award, without having to follow the usual registration process for the annual contest of the prize.

The national semifinals will be held on 3 – 4 and 5 September again in Isernia in Molise.
