In July there will be the 38th edition of the Villa Arconati Festival
The thirty-eighth edition of the Villa Arconati Festival in Castellazzo di Bollatenear Milan. The 2026 edition plans to cover many paths: from gypsy contamination to the total soloism of a magic piano, to move on to pure singing or the rarefaction of a jazz trumpet in homage to the man who fell to earth… But in the Festival there are also spaces for narrative and frontier theater and for musical documentaries, to remember and talk about one of the most brilliant musicians of the last century. Then, as tradition, final party with sounds from another continent.
July 2, 2026 on the Festival stage will be the Gipsy Kings by Diego Baliardo who helped promote gypsy culture. Songs like “Doll”, “Djobi Djoba” And “Baila Me”have brought their version of flamenco all over the world. July 3rd the piano will be the protagonist Giovanni Allevi who returns to the Festival 20 years after his first participation.
To follow, on July 7will be on stage at Villa Arconati Arisa. The following day, July 8, arrives Paolo Fresu with his trumpet to propose “Heroes. Homage to David Bowie”. With him on stage a lineup made up of John DeLeo (voice), Philip Vineyard (trombone, electronics), Francesco Diodati (guitar), Francesco Ponticelli (double bass, electric bass) e Christian Meyer (drums).
July 10th the Beauty Festival is intertwined with the Villa Arconati Festival for an event that will see the actor and writer as the protagonist Stefano Massini no “The strength of the symbol”. July 12th it will be the turn of the concert at dawn: at 6 in the morning will go on stage Pacific. Before the concert, anyone who wants – starting from Bollate or Garbagnate – will be able to participate in the ‘Walk in company’through paths immersed in the Groane Park up to the gardens of Villa Arconati. Departure is scheduled for 5.00 am. At the end of the concert it will be possible to enjoy breakfast in the Noble Court of the Villa.
July 13th something new is planned for the Festival: the screening of a feature film, obviously with a musical theme. It’s about “Pino Daniele. Black in half”documentary film by Stefano Senardi And Marco Spagnolidedicated to the early years of his career Pino Daniele. This evening the collaboration with Club Tenco debuts. Stefano Senardiambassador of Club Tenco will be interviewed by Eddie Berni before the film screening. With Senardi on stage to tell the documentary there will also be the director Marco Spagnoli. The evening will also be enriched by the minilive of Chiare (Chiara Ianniciello), who participates in the documentary by playing a song by Pino Daniele in the credits. Chiare will perform in duo with Myriam Spagnoli on the piano.
The Festival is scheduled to close on July 15thwhen another small tradition of the Bollatese festival will be renewed on stage, the link with Brazilian music, thanks to a double appointment with Gilsons And Selton. The freshness and poetry of these sounds will close the 2026 edition of the Festival, with the now usual dance in front of the villa.
