In Flames: a date in Lignano Sabbiadoro in 2025. Who I am

The In FlamesSwedish metal band led by Anders Friden will play in Lignano Sabbiadoro (Ud) at the Arena Alpe Adria on Sunday 15 June 2025.

At the opening of the evening, the Lacuna Coil and another band to be announced soon.

For the Gothenburg band it is a return to Italy where we recently saw them perform. The last live in our country is dated 16 October 2024 (single date) when they shared the stage at Alcatraz in Milan as co headliners with Arch Enemy.

In Flames were born in 1990 by drummer Jesper Strömblad who recruited guitarists Glenn Ljungström and singer Johan Larsson, creating what would be the group’s initial lineup. Of the three founders in the band’s current line up, none remain. The group, among many lineup changes, is now led by frontman Anders Friden who joined In Flames in 1995.

Their first album “Lunar Strain” was released in 1994. The debut was followed by another 13 albums with “Foregone” released in 2023 which currently closes their record production.

The Italians will open the concert Lacuna Coil who will release their new album on February 14, 2025 “Sleepless empire” which arrives more than five years after the previous unreleased project, “Black anima” in 2019. With the new album the guitarist entered the lineup Daniel Solomon who replaces the departed Diego Cavallotti.
