“Il Tenco Ascolta”: new appointment in Metaponto (Matera)
Sunday 18th August, from 9.30pm, “The Tenco Listen” arrives for the sixth consecutive year in Metaponto (Matera) for a special evening of music at the Torremare Castle, as part of the 19th edition of the Metaponto Beach Festival.
On stage, for the format that Club Tenco created in 2008 to give emerging artists from all over Italy the opportunity to be heard from an audience, the singer-songwriter from Taranto will perform Rosanna De Pace and the Lucanian singer-songwriter Michelangelo Vood. Following will be the performance of Raizleader and voice of Almamegretta who in recent years has also established himself as an actor, after having played the role of Don Salvatore Ricci in the series “Mare fuori”. The artist will perform live, together with the band Radicanto, his latest album dedicated to Sergio Bruni, “Si l’ammore è o’cuntrario da morte”.

The Metaponto Beach Festival is organized by Associazione Krikka in collaboration with Kido Music Group, Arci Basilicata, Associazione Multietnica di Potenza and thanks to the Municipality of Bernalda and the Basilicata Region.

The Tenco Club also awards the Tenco Award for the cultural operator and the Yorum Awardestablished in collaboration with Amnesty International Italy since 2020 to give visibility to artists around the world who, often putting their lives at risk, fight for human rights and freedom of expression.
