Here's who will open the concerts of the Rolling Stones' American tour
THE Rolling Stones have announced the names of the artists opening their tour dates “'24 Hackney Diamonds”, which will begin in Houston on the (Italian) night of today, April 28th.
The band will play more than 20 shows across the United States through July 17. Most dates will feature exclusive opening shows, although some artists will perform more than one concert during the tour.
The Stones have lined up a diverse lineup of frontrunners, including the blues guitarist Gary Clark Jr.the veteran soul singer Bettye Lavette and the punk band Linda Lindas.
Many are new to this role, some artists have already opened for the Stones, like Ghost Hounds And KALEO.
The “'24 Hackney Diamonds” tour will begin on April 28 and will see the band perform across the United States, stopping in 20 cities – including Seattle, Atlanta, Cleveland and Los Angeles – before concluding on July 17 in Santa Clara, California.
The group released last October “Hackney Diamonds” the first album of new material since 2005.
