Paramore Working on New Music, Says Hayley Williams

Hayley Williams plays the paler with Billie Eilish’s brother

A few nights ago the Finneas tour in support of his 2024 album “For Cryin ‘Out Loud!” He made a stop at the Nashville Ryman Auditorium. During the evening, the singer -songwriter and brother of Billie Eilish surprised the audience by inviting Hayley Williams with him on stage. Together, the two played the classic of the “Crushcrushcrush” Paramore. The unexpected performance came towards the end of the concert, when the band’s frontwoman got on stage to perform the song, with Finneas on the guitar. For Hayley Williams it was the first time he sang the song live in the last seven years.

“Thank you so much for having really changed my life with your music,” said Finneas, addressing Williams before the performance: “Your band is incredible. I am lucky to meet you as a person and even luckier to find me in front of your talent” . Of the 2007 hesitation, Finneas then said: “I thought it would have been fun to make” ‘Crushcrushcrush’.

This surprise collaboration comes after Williams and Finneas had already performed together on February 5 at the charity concert “G*VE A F*CK la” at the Hollywood Palladium, organized to raise funds in favor of the victims of fires in California. During the event, the Paramore singer held an acoustic set with Ken Andrews of the Failure, performing the covers of “Daylight” and “All Is Full of Love” by Björk. Finneas, on the other hand, proposed two original songs: “For Cryin ‘Out Loud!”, Title Track of his new album, and “Only a Lifetime”.
