Halsey argues with the public: “I play whatever the f*** I want”
A particularly heated argument took place last night at the MGM Music Hall in Boston between Halsey and a member of the public.
The 31-year-old American singer-songwriter, after spending a night in the emergency room due to a medical emergency, went on stage for the second of her concerts in Boston and was speaking to those present when a man from the audience shouted at her: “Stop talking and play”.
In response, Halsey she snapped back, “You think you’re tough because you’re from Boston? I’m from Jersey, honey. I’ll beat your ass. My dad’s from Boston, my mom’s from Jersey, that pretty much makes me a fucking demon. I’ll play whatever the fuck I want. In case you didn’t get it right, I almost died being on this stage. I’ll play whatever the fuck I want.”
Halsey she had previously published a message on her social networks in which she informed that she had been visited in the emergency room, writing that she had had a “small medical emergency” after the first performance in that venue. Adding that she had been held until six in the morning, her post closed by saying: “I’m fine now and ready to rock tonight!”
On X/Twitter after the concert Halsey she once again attacked the provocateur, writing: “I was brought up, but I will never let a man tell me what I should play in my set… There’s always one.”
