Goodbye to Mario Tessuto. He was 81 years old
He passed away in Vigevano at the age of 81 Mario Fabric, at the registry office Mario Buongiovannian artist who had many canons of success behind him.

The singer was born on 7 September 1943 in Pignataro Maggiore, in the province of Caserta. As a young man he worked as a barber, but then, thanks to his friendship with Livio Macchiasinger and guitarist of Chameleonshe approached his greatest passion, that of music, and began performing live.

Although the song did not win the 1969 edition of the event “A record for the summer” (he came in second place, the winner was, by ten votes, Al Bano with “Pensando a te “) became one of the best-selling of the year and one of the symbolic songs of the ’60s.
The success was so great that the homonym was taken from “Lisa with blue eyes”. musical (Italian film subgenre that builds a film about a famous singer and his new album) directed by Bruno Corbucci.
Riding the wave of success in 1970, Tessuto participated in the Sanremo Festival paired with Orietta Berti with the song “Tipitipitì” and, in the same, he took part in a historic feat, that of the famous ride from Milan to Rome carried out by Mogol and Lucio Battisti from 21 June to 26 July. In 1975, Mario Tessuto recorded the Italian cover of Eric Carmen’s hit “All by Myself”, titled “Rivoglio lei” and written by Cristiano Minellono.
During the 70s the singer also worked as an author for other performers: “Meglio libera” was written in 1976 for Loredana Bertè and “Utopia” was written for Pascal in 1984.
In 2019 Mario Tessuto released the album in duo with Donatella “A timeless story” for the Milanese label SAAR Records. The CD contains 12 songs arranged by Gerardo Tarallo who had already created the album for Mario in 2000 “Naples… my country”.
