Gianni Maroccolo: “The CSI? The reunion maybe in one or two years”
Gianni Maroccolowho recently announced that he will take part in the next Litfiba reunion, interviewed by 19th century, he also talked about CSI and a possible return of the formation born from the ashes of CCCP. Here’s what the bassist, who published the interview on social media, said, perhaps to give a further signal: “There was a lunch between us in CSI: we saw each other again after a long time. With Ginevra Di Marcofor example, we hadn’t met for years. Yes, we also chatted about the idea of going on a tour together again. After lunch we published a photo, and the frenzy broke out on social media. It’s nice to see that, after so many years, all this affection still exists. You don’t expect it.”
Then the direct question: “will you return”? The musician: “Usually, certain forms of gratification come when you are already dead, but we are experiencing them today, while alive. And life should be enjoyed. This is why we said to ourselves that, if we want to get the CSI back on its feet, it must happen in a year, maximum two (next summer Maroccolo will be on tour with Litfiba, ed.). We can’t wait, because then old age knocks at the door. We need to seize these moments.” The end of CCCP’s farewell tour it may have created sufficiently fertile ground to favor the return of the Consortium. After all, It’s not the first time that CSI has risen from the ashes left by the group led by Lindo Ferretti. Just like it originally happened with the dissolution of the first punk bandthe CSIs could create a historical course-recourse that lends itself to their spirit.
