Among the news regarding the universe of George Michaelthere were rumours earlier this year that the singer could return to the stage in hologram form. Documents filed by Nobby’s Hobbies Holdings, which manages Michael’s estate, seen by MailOnline, show George was earning £50,000 a day last year and said: “The group’s activities will expand over the next three years to include live public performances.”
Bandmate in the Wham!Andrew Ridgeley Last year, he confided that he would love to see the band back on stage in an Abba Voyage-style show, but admitted that the prospect of using his late friend’s likeness raised ethical questions. “My thought would be, ‘That’s great!’ To have Wham! at their peak, playing live. Of course, there are ethical questions. That decision would be up to me and the people who manage George’s estate, if it ever came to pass. I can’t speak for them, I don’t know how they would feel about it. But I think it could be done, and I think it could be done exceptionally well. I would pay to see it!”
