Gene Simmons: who is its favorite frontman of all time

Defining the best ever in the field of art and music in particular, has to do with personal taste, an element that has a fundamental role in drawing up any ranking. However, there are some objective characteristics that respond to high quality standards that lead to a sort of “short list” where names that attract a vast audience are often found.
Gene Simmons, known as the “demon” for his trick with the Kiss, recently shared his considerations on an interview on Music Radar on Music Radar David Lee Roth frontman of Van Halen.
During the chat Simmons underlined Roth’s charisma and scenic presence, declaring that during his period of maximum splendor the blond singer was the “super frontman of all time”. He continued to praise the “colleague”, stating that no other artist, in no musical genre, has ever reached his levels of excellence in the role as he did by contributing to the definition of live performance.
“David did acrobatics and had sexuality, all these things that had never been seen before, and was so evident”.
Of course, Roth is not the only successful rock singer ‘N’ Roll. On the other hand, Gene places him right at the top of the ranking, even next to Elvis Presley.
“Everyone has their topical moments,” explained the bassist of the Kiss. “When Elvis was swollen and naked on the floor of an Las Vegas bathroom, it could be a negative moment. But once, when Elvis went up on stage with the grin and shake his hips, he was the king. And when the Van Halen were at their peak, David was the best frontman of all” he concluded.
