Already announced last year while the 2023 edition was still underway, on June 15, 2024 Gabry Ponte (Gabriele Ponte) will be at the Capannelle racecourse in Rome on the festival's billboard Rock In Rome.

After the performances in Milan (27 January 2024), Turin (2 March) and Bologna (6 April), the one in Rome will be the last in a series of shows with which the Turin DJ and Producer celebrated 25 years of his career.

This will then be followed by four other new summer live shows in Italy:

21 August – Under the volcano fest – Villa Bellini (Ct)

The 51-year-old Gabry Ponte, who in 2021 underwent a delicate – but successful – heart surgery to solve a heart problem, was part of the Eiffel 65, with whom he managed to sell three million copies of the album “Europop” in the United States alone United, where “Blue (Da Ba Dee)” (the band's debut single) reached 6th place: it was the highest position in the American charts for an Italian song since 1962.

The group disbanded in 2005, after a participation in Sanremo and the tensions between Maurizio Lobina and Gianfranco Randone, aka Jeffrey Jay but also due to Ponte's solo commitments which began in 2001. In 2010 the group returned to performing live and then stopped again again. In 2014 Ponte definitively left the group which made a further live and recording return in 2016.

Gabry Ponte, after Eiffel 65, dedicated himself to a solo career as a DJ, founding his own label Dance and Love.

In his palmares, over 3 billion global streams, over 15 million monthly listeners on Spotify, 2 diamond discs, 39 platinum discs and 22 gold discs.
