The group disbanded in 2005, after a participation in Sanremo and the tensions between Maurizio Lobina and Gianfranco Randone, aka Jeffrey Jay but also due to Ponte's solo commitments which began in 2001. In 2010 the group returned to performing live and then stopped again again. In 2014 Ponte definitively left the group which made a further live and recording return in 2016.
Gabry Ponte, after Eiffel 65, dedicated himself to a solo career as a DJ, founding his own label Dance and Love.
In his palmares, over 3 billion global streams, over 15 million monthly listeners on Spotify, 2 diamond discs, 39 platinum discs and 22 gold discs.
