Franz Ferdinand re-read a song by Chappell Roan live

Starring on Jo Whiley’s show on BBC Radio 2, Franz Ferdinand decided to include some surprises during their live set. Alex Kapranos and partners in fact amazed with a cover included during the performance, which saw the Scottish band playing live – among other things – “Good luck, babe!” by Chappell Roan.

Before rereading the song taken from the pop star’s first album “The rise and fall of a midwest princess” (here is our review), released last year, the frontman of the Glasgow group declared: β€œIt’s an amazing song by an incredible artist.” He added: “It’s curious, there are artists who are going through a moment of glory, often even divisive. Some are loved madly, others are hated. But I don’t know anyone, neither among my friends nor among the people I hang out with, who doesn’t like this artist. It’s phenomenal. This song is amazing, so now let’s play it.”
