Club Tenco, tomorrow in Sanremo the meeting “I’ll leave you a song..”
Tomorrow, Friday 29 November 2024, in Sanremo (Imperia), at the Club Tenco headquarters, “Ti lascio una canzone…” will be held, a meeting aimed at the students of the Cassini High School in Sanremo (Imperia) in which the singer-songwriter and musician Massimo Schiavon together with guitarist Christophe Laurenti will accompany the kids on an experiential journey that traces the birth and construction of a piece of music from the creative idea to its realization.
Some of the main themes related to writing a song will be addressed from both a textual and musical point of view. The song form, the sound, the relationship between melody and text in a harmonious and rhythmic context, the importance of video content in today’s music.
The children will be given the opportunity to develop their own compositional idea through group work in the field within a mobile studio equipped for the occasion at the Club headquarters.
The Tenco Prize is a festival of high artistic, cultural and technical quality, which has been held since 1974 in the city in western Liguria which has always represented Italian music. A unique event in Europe and the world to which the most interesting Italian and foreign singer-songwriters are invited, as well as an opportunity for artists and operators in the music sector to meet and discuss.
The Club Tenco cultural association, founded in Sanremo in 1972 by a group of music enthusiasts, with the guidance of Amilcare Rambaldi, to promote and support quality songs, is named after the great Italian artist and singer-songwriter Luigi Tenco and operates without purpose for profit, in absolute and recognized autonomy from the music industry. “The purpose of the Club is to bring together all those who, taking up Luigi Tenco’s message, intend to enhance the songwriting, also seeking artistic dignity and poetic realism in pop music”.
